A development build with a clearer direction

Infinity Rising is becoming easier to assess as a game, although it remains an unfinished one. This evidence-based review examines official documentation and development announcements as of October 12, 2026; it does not claim hands-on play. The central question is whether its different activities form a convincing reason to return, beyond collecting assets.

The official Steam listing identifies Cornucopias Technology Pte. Ltd. as developer and publisher. It describes a sandbox spanning a civilization above the clouds and Earth below. The studio renamed the project from Cornucopias to Infinity Rising in its October 2025 announcement, retaining Cornucopias as part of the setting.

What is actually available

The latest development release verified for this review is 0.4.5, described in the studio's September 26 Steam community update. It adds free flight for supported ships, tree cutting, surface mining, photographic exploration quests, and equipment systems affecting protection and movement. The announcement explicitly addresses the testing community and describes progress toward Alpha.

Earlier official updates document apartments, crafting, experience levels, perk points and vocational skills. Together, these outline a loop of taking jobs, gathering supplies, improving capabilities and building a useful home. That is a more concrete foundation for a sandbox than an asset catalogue alone.

Access still matters. The official entry page labels the experience pre-alpha and offers a waiting list, with codes sent when places open. Steam says the game is not yet available there. A store listing therefore establishes visibility, not an unrestricted public launch.

Where the design looks strongest

Our editorial assessment is that gathering and construction give exploration a practical purpose. A landscape becomes more interesting when a trip can support the next crafting decision or home improvement. Flight could strengthen that relationship by making travel itself part of the appeal, rather than merely the interval between tasks.

The strongest potential audience is a player who enjoys setting personal goals. Someone interested in building a workshop, learning a profession or exploring with friends has a clearer reason to investigate this design than someone seeking a tightly scripted campaign.

Breadth is also the design's central test. Housing, travel and combat must eventually support one another without making every session feel like preparation for a different activity. The verified feature list shows promising connections; documentation cannot establish whether their pacing feels satisfying.

The crypto connection

The project's current RISE page identifies Base and Cardano as the token's networks and describes its intended ecosystem uses, including the official store. Its rebrand documentation also discusses player-owned assets, including NFTs. This gives Infinity Rising a substantive blockchain connection, but it should not be confused with evidence that every gameplay action happens on-chain.

For this review, progression means the documented character and crafting systems. No earnings rate, resale return or reward sustainability is assumed. The useful editorial question is what ownership adds to a player's chosen activity. Without that connection, an additional asset layer can make an already broad sandbox harder to understand.

Limitations and intended audience

Development status is the main limitation. Test access is constrained, and the reviewed materials cannot establish present server reliability, combat responsiveness or long-term balance. The July development notes recorded a progression reset; that is historical evidence about testing, not a claim that another reset has been announced.

Hardware requirements are another practical consideration. Both the access page and Steam specify Windows, 16 GB of memory and 100 GB of storage, while their graphics recommendations differ. Prospective testers should check the requirements accompanying their access instructions instead of assuming either page guarantees smooth performance.

Infinity Rising merits attention from patient sandbox enthusiasts who want to follow a developing world. Players seeking a finished, immediately accessible MMO should wait for clearer release and access confirmation. Its most persuasive direction is the relationship between exploration, resources and personal projects; the quality of that relationship still needs hands-on evaluation.
